SENNA contains sennosides, which are known as stimulant laxatives. It is used to treat constipation, especially for elderly, pregnant lady, or fist few weeks for a mother who has given birth. It may also be used to clean out the intestines before a bowel examination/surgery. Senna is a natural medicine derived from the Senna plant. Senna contains sennosides which acts as a stimulant laxative. It works by irritating and stimulating intestinal cells, producing contraction in intestines, water influx to the intestines and bowel movement.

  • Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting are present. 
  • Frequent or prolonged use of this preparation may result in dependence on the product and imbalanced electrolytes. 
  • Senna should be stored below 30˚C, protected from light and moisture.
