Service Overview
This in-clinic vaccination immunizes you against pneumococcal infections such as pneumonia, meningitis, and bacteremia. PCV20, covers seven more bacterial strains than the PCV13.
Service Description

Note:
● For eligible Singaporeans, Permanent Residents if you are claiming using Subsidies (CHAS, Medisave) book your appointment via this link

● Singaporeans and Permanent Residents can use up to $400 of their Medisave per calendar year to pay for their recommended vaccinations.
● CHAS subsidies are available for this vaccine and administered at any DA Clinic.

Recommended for:
● Elderly aged 65 years old and above.
● Adults aged 18 years and older who have any of the following medical conditions:
○ Chronic pulmonary, cardiovascular, liver disease, or diabetes mellitus;
○ Cochlear implant or cerebrospinal fluid leak;
○ Immunocompromising conditions;
○ Chronic kidney disease
● Infants and children aged 6 weeks to 15 months

Booking Information:
● This booking is for 1 vaccination dose.

Recommended dosing:
● If individuals have not completed their pneumococcal vaccination regimen with both PCV13 and PPSV23, there is an option of doing so with PCV20. Individuals should consult their doctor for vaccination advice specific to their age and medical conditions.
● If individuals have completed their recommended PCV13 and PPSV23 regimen, revaccination with PCV20 may not be required. Individuals should consult their doctor for vaccination advice specific to their age and medical conditions.
● Infants and children aged 6 weeks to 15 months should receive a series of four doses – three primary doses followed by a booster.

Not recommended for:
● Persons experiencing fever symptoms 3 days prior to appointment.

Documents required for the appointment:
● Parent's Identity card
● Child's Birth Certificate (if applicable)
● Child’s Health Booklet (if applicable)
● CHAS Card (if applicable)

Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy:
● Cancellations are not allowed once payment has been made. However, if required, appointments can be postponed to a later date (with a validity period of three (3) months from the time of booking).
● If you would like to reschedule your booking, please use the link provided in the appointment confirmation email.

For Confirmed Appointments:
● For appointment rescheduling less than 2 working days before the confirmed appointment date.
● You may reschedule your appointment up to a maximum of 2 times.

Terms & Conditions:
● Kindly note that appointments for purchased health services online must be scheduled and fulfilled within three (3) months from the date of purchase.
● Failure to schedule or complete the appointment within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the service without eligibility for a refund.
