Medication Overview

This treatment works by supporting better appetite regulation, which may help you eat fewer calories and achieve sustainable weight loss. Combined with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, it helps you manage your weight more effectively. Treatment is recommended for adults with excess weight (BMI ≥27) who also have at least one weight-related medical problem, or obesity (BMI ≥30). This treatment helps them lose weight and keep the weight off. Treatment should be used in conjunction with a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity. Treatment may also be suitable for adolescents, from the age of 12 years, who have experienced difficulty keeping their weight in control. Treatment should be used in adjunct to healthy nutrition and increased physical activity.

Medication Description

All treatments are prescribed only after a thorough medical consultation with a doctor to determine suitability. Weight management should always be combined with a healthy lifestyle, including proper nutrition and regular exercise.

The published fee applies to teleconsultations during standard hours (6am to 9pm). After-hours teleconsultations (9pm to 6am) are charged at $49.05 nett. The consultation fee is inclusive of 3-hour delivery for prescribed medication. Medication or treatments, if prescribed, will be charged separately.
