Polio is a highly infectious disease which mainly affects young children caused by poliovirus. It invades the nervous system, and can cause total paralysis in a matter of hours. The virus is transmitted by person-to-person spread mainly through the faecal-oral route or, less frequently, contaminated water or food and multiplies in the intestine.

Identity card

Recommended for:

  • Individuals who have not been vaccinated previously, or partially vaccinated.
  • Individuals staying more than 4 weeks in countries with risk of polio transmission.
  • Individuals visiting countries where polio is endemic.

Dosage Information:

This vaccination booking is for 1 dose.

Recommended to have 3 doses, dose 1 and dose 2 administered 4 weeks apart, followed by dose 3 as a booster 6 months later.

Price stated is for 1 dose. Please book again for the 2nd and 3rd dose.

Not Recommended For:

Person experiencing fever symptoms 3 days prior to appointment.

Kindly note that appointments for purchased health services online must be scheduled and fulfilled within three (3) months from the date of purchase.

Failure to schedule or complete the appointment within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the service without eligibility for a refund.

Cancellation Policy:

1) Unfortunately, no cancellations or refunds are allowed. However, if required, screening can be postponed to a later date (with a validity period of 6 months from the time of booking).
